What is the fee for counselling sessions?<\/span><\/a><\/i><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Our counsellors\u2019 fees range from $150 to $220 per hour for individual and couples counselling. The fee includes 50 minutes of session time and 10 minutes of administrative and record-keeping time.<\/p>

The exact fee depends on the counsellor\u2019s level of education, years of experience, and training. You can view the fee for each counsellor on our booking page before scheduling an appointment.<\/p>

Fees align with market rates based on our counsellors\u2019 credentials and experience. These rates also adhere to recommendations set by the Psychology Association of Saskatchewan:\u00a0https:\/\/www.psychsask.ca\/resources\/for-members<\/a><\/p><\/div><\/div>

What is the fee for psychological assessments?<\/span><\/a><\/i><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Assessment fees vary between $2600 and $3500, depending on the assessment questions, areas requiring assessment, and total assessment hours.<\/p>

**Psychoeducational assessment \u2013 $2600<\/h3>

This type of assessment will include exploration of learning strenths and difficulties and consider the diagnoses of ADHD, specific learning disoders, and intellectual developmental disorder (previously referred to as intellectual disability).<\/p>

** Mental health diagnostic assessment \u2013 $2600<\/h3>

This type of assessment will include consideration of various mental health diagnoses including, for example, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive and related conditions, bipolar and related disorders, as well as stress and trauma-related conditions.<\/p>

**Mental health and psychoeducational assessment \u2013 $2800<\/h3>

This type of assessment will include consideration of various mental health diagnoses, as well as the possibility of specific learning difficulties and relevant diagnoses. It is a combination of the first two assessment types, with a comprehensive focus on both areas.<\/p>

** Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment \u2013 $3500<\/h3>

This type of assessment will include consideration of the Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnoses. It will typically include an assessment of intellectual strengths and needs. It will also include consideration of mental health conditions that may accompany ASD or come across as Autism features.<\/p>

**Insurance and Direct Billing<\/h3>

We currently offer direct billing options for Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, Veteran Affairs, Victim Services, as well as the Ministry of Social Services and the Jordan\u2019s Principle program.<\/p>

At this time, we do not offer direct billing to other insurance providers. We are happy to offer you a detailed receipts for services. You can then submit it to your insurance for reimbursement.<\/p>

We recommend checking with your insurance provider to clarify whether you have coverage for assessment services. Let us know if you require an assessment cost estimate for your insurance or funding program. We will be glad to provide it.<\/p>

Do you accept insurance?<\/span><\/a><\/i><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Our counsellors offer direct billing for NIHB, Victim Services, Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, and Veteran Affairs. At this time, we do not offer direct billing to other private insurance providers. We are happy to offer you a detailed receipt after each session. You can then submit it to your insurance for reimbursement.<\/p>

We recommend checking with your insurance provider to clarify whether you have coverage for counselling and assessment services.<\/p>

It is useful to clarify whether you are covered for counselling with registered psychologists, social workers, or Canadian certified counsellors (CCC). Some plans will only cover psychologists, while others cover additional professionals as well.<\/p>
