Therefore, conducting a comprehensive psycho-educational assessment and differential diagnoses to children, adolescents, and adults is one way to support individuals who are seeking a better understanding of themself. My approach to assessment is driven by the client\u2019s presenting concerns. I approach each assessment with curiosity and a purpose of providing insight about the client\u2019s personal strengths and potential, while also formulating strategies and recommendations to support their areas of need.<\/p>\n<p>My areas of practice include: specific learning disorder, intellectual developmental disorder, attention, executive functioning, anxiety, and depression.<\/p>\n<h2>Professional Background<\/h2>\n<p>I am a fully Registered Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) designation. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Psychology from the University of Regina. I went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology, with a focus on Learning and Development from the University of Victoria, and a Master of Education degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Regina.<\/p>\n<p>I have been afforded many opportunities over the last decade to work in various mental health and community service job roles. I have worked as a Research Coordinator for the Anxiety and Illness Behaviours Laboratory at the University of Regina, a Behaviour Therapist working with persons on the autism spectrum, and a Clinical Caseworker in a residential treatment setting.
